We have been born in times of a fundamental shift of societal values. We have been the first generation where individualism in music, dressing, but also lifestyle and self-actualization where the characteristics. We are a generation of entrepreneurs. We invented all the technologies that are driving the world today. And we are the first generation that is looking for work-life balance — typically after a midlife crisis.

We are driving major parts of companies as the workforce but are often not recognized.

We fought for equality in society and paved the way for LGBT.

Our business model was and is “breaking the rules” and anarchy combined with technology. And we are reading a lot and are savvy. And how often am I showing to my digital-native students

All these are the basis of the following generations.

How often, am I looking at the millennials and gen Z and thinking, “we did this already 30 years ago”?

And yes, we had to look for our own. Our parents have been working and had other priorities. And we are still looking for our own. Individually, loudly, bold.
