Thank you for sharing the concept of confident humility.

There is only one statement where I do not agree: As a senior executive leader, I want neither followers nor disciples. As a leader, you want people who are confident to raise their voices, people who are peers in giving their opinion, people who are confident in acting.

How to achieve that?

#1 Listen, take them seriously, give them trust and empower them to act.

#2 Give the credits to the people.

#3 If something goes wrong, protect them, take the responsibility.

#4 Finally, develop them that they can be future leaders and replacing you.

As a leader, you are ‘nothing else’ than a social architect.
